Enterprise Architecture (under development)

Tormundsen IT’s business documentation is formulated with the Enterprise Architecture where Tormundsen IT uses certification on TOGAF 9.2 Standard which can be found on the index in this domain under Enterprise Architecture Repository, where access is given on request. “Enterprise architecture (EA) is “a well-defined practice for conducting enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation, using a comprehensive approach at all times, for the successful development and execution of strategy. Enterprise architecture applies architecture principles and practices to guide organizations throughthe business, information, process, and technology changes necessary to execute their strategies. These practices utilize the various aspects of an enterprise to identify, motivate, and achieve these changes” (reference). One of the more recognized frameworks in relation to Enterprise Architecture is The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF). “It may be used freely by any organization wishing to develop an Enterprise Architecture for use within that organization” (The Open Group). The Enterprise Continuum

For Tormundsen IT the Enterpsie Continuum is equivalent to The System Management Codex. By so one would find the Architecture Repository as the Enterprise Architecture Repository as a tailored approach for integrating The Open Group Architecture Framework in Tormundsen IT. The ADM for Tormundsen IT is stored in the Enterprise Architecture Repository under The Architecture Metamodel. The references including templates patterns and guides can be found in the Reference Library in the Architecture repository on this site.
